Here’s How To Change The Timing Of YouTube’s ‘Double-Tap To Seek’ Feature

YouTube’s ‘double-tap to seek’ feature saves us the trouble of fidgeting with the tiny seek bar, and advances/rewinds the video by 10 seconds, which is the default seek span.

But there’s a way to set custom seek intervals on Android devices.

Steps to Customise Seek Time:

  • Tap on the ‘profile’ icon on YouTube homepage
  • Select the ‘Settings’ option
  • Tap on ‘General’
  • Select the ‘Double-tap to seek’ option
  • Choose from intervals between 5-60 seconds
