YouTube’s ‘double-tap to seek’ feature saves us the trouble of fidgeting with the tiny seek bar, and advances/rewinds the video by 10 seconds, which is the default seek span.
But there’s a way to set custom seek intervals on Android devices.
Steps to Customise Seek Time:
- Tap on the ‘profile’ icon on YouTube homepage
- Select the ‘Settings’ option
- Tap on ‘General’
- Select the ‘Double-tap to seek’ option
- Choose from intervals between 5-60 seconds
