Google’s note taking app — Keep, is actually a rather useful one that I use quite often. The app allows me to quickly take notes, create checklists, and even sketch out ideas quickly.
However, every now and then we end up accidentally deleting things that we didn’t intend to, and Keep is no different. Fortunately, Google has a fail-safe for just such situations.
- Tap on the Hamburger menu on the top-left of the Keep app.
- Navigate to ‘Trash’.
- Here, you’ll find the note you accidentally deleted. Simply select the note, and tap on the restore icon.
Note: Keep only keeps (no pun intended) deleted notes for a maximum period of 7 days before permanently removing them, so make sure you restore notes within that time period.
