While the coronavirus lockdown has left millions of people watching Netflix, some of you might want to save some money by canceling your subscription. The only problem is, there is no option to cancel the subscription in the Netflix app. The official method to cancel Netflix subscription requires you to use a computer. However, if you don’t have access to a computer you can still do it from your smartphone. Here’s how.
How To Cancel Netflix Subscription On App
Open any web browser of your choice on your smartphone and log in to your Netflix account. This method works for both Android and iOS. Once you’ve logged in to your account, tap on the Hamburger icon (☰) in the top-left corner. This will bring up the ‘Menu’ option from the left side of the screen.
Next tap on the “Account” button to get to your account’s membership menu. On the next screen, you will see your account information. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, until you see the “Cancel Membership” option under the “Membership & Billing” section. Tap on the ‘Cancel Membership’ button.
Next, it’ll ask you to confirm your account cancellation. Tap on the “Finish Cancellation” button. This will stop your Netflix subscription, however, you will still have access to the streaming service until the next billing period.
